Working in the F&B industry, and the long hours with low pay are really wearing me down. It’s tough to stay motivated. How do you guys handle the stress and keep going? What are the ways to improve ones salary in this field? Any tips or advice on coping would be super appreciated!

I hear you Amir. Yep with long hours and low pay can sure be challenging and tough. What helps me is making sure to take care of myself outside of work with enough rest and time to recharge. In terms of salary, taking on specialized roles or certifications, like barista training or sommelier courses, can make a difference.

F&b is tough. When i was 23.. i worked for f&b outlet for like 3 months then i quit. Look for another part-time job. If you think to stick to that and wanting a pay raise, moving up to a supervisor or manager role often comes with a better pay.
