I wanted to quit this lousy job in my second month and was told to pay the company a month's worth of salary as compensation??? 😖😱😤 Turns out it was a clause in my contract. READ THE FINE PRINT YOU GUYS! I am filing a complaint with TAFEP coz this is really unreasonable and unfair since I didn't even get confirmed yet. Any advice would be welcome on how I can appeal this. Thank you!

That sounds really unfair

Sorry you have to deal with that ☹️ tafep is a good place to file a complaint, and it might be worth consulting an employment lawyer to explore your options. Dont give up ok!

That's saddd :( Some companies can be really sneaky with them contracts. Anyway, good move going to TAFEP. For your appeal, try gather all evidence, like emails or whatever, showing you never kena confirm. Make it clear you didn't even hit that 'official' status. Maybe also stress how it's a big hit for you, like why you need the money more than they do.

Its no use if your contract did state 'the condition' in it, i have been thru, even i go authority also useless, in da end jus end up paying 1mth salary and move on...Painful Lesson learnt: READ carefully before signing any contract
