As a healthcare worker in Singapore, I've always been curious about healthcare systems in other countries, particularly those known for their high-quality care. I've heard a lot about Switzerland, Canada, and Denmark. In your opinion, which of these countries has the best healthcare system, and what specific practices or policies could Singaporean healthcare workers learn from them?

Each country has strengths we could learn from. Switzerland offers patient choice and high-quality care through mandatory insurance, but it comes with high costs. Denmark’s healthcare system is more community-driven, focusing on preventive care and patient-centered services, which I think could be really useful for us. Singapore could look at ways to incorporate a stronger emphasis on prevention to ease pressure on hospitals
