The important skills needed in the industry include technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, continuous improvement mindset, teamwork and collaboration, adaptability, time management, safety awareness, effective communication, and leadership skills. As a manager in manufacturing in Singapore, I often see young graduates entering the industry. My question to you is, what are you doing to develop practical skills, adapt to fast-paced environments, and stay updated on the latest technologies to ensure you stand out and succeed in this competitive field?

I recently started using language apps to learn Malay for work, and I’m really enjoying it! But I still struggle with speaking and need to build my confidence. I deal with a lot of Malaysian clients in industrial manufacturing and hoping this can help me build rapport and relationships with them. Anyone else learning Malay? What are your tips for practicing speaking?
