Salary: 5K+ (with guaranteed yearly increments)

my advice, make sure what you’re doing makes you happy. that’s what matters most!

To me, it’s just another reflection of SG’s competitive mindset😌we treat politics like a business in some ways. I get why some might see it as excessive, but the gov says it keeps corruption low and ensures our ministers stay focused on the job. If paying well is what it takes to attract those with integrity and experience, I guess it’s a worthwhile trade-off. But yeaa, a breakdown of how they decide on the numbers would definitely help us understand better.

If you can’t handle sensitive topic, perhaps let HR to interview.

My opinion don’t ask about salary cos is PC. When you know other people salary more than you. You feel uncomfortable less than you happy be natural so you will happy to carry on your work.

If staying in the same industry limits your growth, exploring other industries with higher pay might be worth considering. Even just applying for different jobs regularly is a good. Keeps your interview skills from getting rusty. And if you get the job you have better pay, hours, or learn new skills that you can leverage for even more better pay!

lol. when salary review comes employer will give all sorts of excuse not to give. economy not good la, no budget la.

Remember, colleagues will always be just that—colleagues. Avoid getting too emotionally attached.
