I haven’t worked in customer service myself, but I’ve heard it’s a field where you need patience and good people skills. It’s a great starting point for building a career, especially if you’re looking for something stable. Just keep in mind, it can be repetitive and sometimes stressful depending on the customers you deal with. Anyways, enjoy exploring!

Real-time monitoring can actually improve customer service if used correctly. The ipad idea is actually quite cool! This way can allow staff to access client info instantly, which can enhance the customer experience by offering more personalized service. If used for support rather than just surveillance, it can really boost service quality

Ppl often talk bad customer service workers, but recently i get to interact with a service worker who actually cares and nice to me. I raise my complain to to this lady about my Airbnb refund not being processed. Actually she can just passing me off to another team, instead she escalate my issue and too care of it.

I remember my first days at the call center, had no clue what I was talking about, super embarrassing 😅 But I made it through 5yrs! My advice? Don't take it personally when someone rants at u. Just be there to listen. After a stressful call, take 30s to breathe, reset & move on. Also, list down common questions and suitable responses might helps you too. Then, practice them until u get used to it. Remembr, it just a job and u probably talking to them once. Don't overthink it, you've got this

It’s actually a great field if you enjoy helping people solve issues! The pay range you’re looking at is spot-on, and most customer service roles really focus on communication and problem-solving. You’ll also need good time management to handle different requests efficiently. If you’re patient and have solid people skills, you might enjoy it

FR everyone be saying CS is low-key easy jobs and not challenging. They don’t get the biggest L is dealing with rude AF customers. Like, who can handle that daily? 😩 You def need a whole bunch of soft skills— being persuasive, handling crises, and some even require you to be good with numbers. The fact that our job’s seen as a 'low-level' job? Really icks me. We’re out here solving probs so the big bosses can chill. No cap, it’s giving underrated vibes. PERIODT!

I’m 24 & have been working as a cs rep for 6 months now. While I’ve hit all my KPIs and earned commissions, I’m honestly getting tired of it, like staying late and working OT on Saturdays just to meet targets. Started to think this isn’t something I want to do for the next few yrs. Those who’ve moved on from call center jobs, what do you do now? Any advice on how I can transfer my skills to a different field?

I made the switch from customer service to HR! It felt like a natural transition since I was used to dealing with people and handling conflicts. Look into HR assistant or coordinator roles; they often value customer service experience, especially when it comes to communication and problem-solving. thank me later :P

Ever been in a situation where you gave it your all and did a great job selling to your customer? They confirmed to go for it, but as you walked away to get the form, suddenly your colleague swoops in with their form. So annoying, right??? How did you handle it?

Oh yess! When it happened to me, I just smiled and said, ‘I’ve already got the form ready for them!’ It lets them know without causing drama. If they keep overstepping, maybe bring it up with your manager or in a team meeting to set clearer boundaries.

If you see any immediate hiring pls let me know!! I applied to 40+ CS jobs and haven’t gotten one interview. I've made a bad move which i quit my previous job to early w/o making any backup plan. Now my savings is suffering and need to land a job ASAP
