As a graduating mechanical engineering student, I'm exploring potential career paths and noticing that many mechanical roles are available in semiconductor manufacturing. Is this industry worth entering? I'd like to know the pros and cons of working in semiconductor manufacturing and explore other industries that might be suitable for mechanical engineering graduates. Thanks!

I’m graduating soon too and asked myself the same thing! Semiconductors seem like a strong choice, but it’s good to explore. I’ve also been looking at industries like renewable energy (lots of growth potential!) and robotics, which is great if you enjoy hands-on problem-solving. From what I’ve heard, semiconductors offer a lot of career growth but can be demanding.
