Recently, I’ve completed online courses in data analytics and advanced Excel. I’m ready for a change and looking for a simple office job, ideally Monday to Friday, 9-5, with weekends off. I'm tired of working on my feet and dealing with food at the hotel (been in this industy for as long as i can remember). Despite my skills and experience, I’m struggling to make this switch into something more stable. Anyone from this field has successfully changed to an office job?

I used to be in retail for years, so I feel you. I got into data entry by showing off my Excel skills and it definitely play those up in your resume!

The transition can be challenging, but it’s absolutely doable. Don’t be afraid to apply to customer service roles, they can be a great way to get your foot in the door. Good luck!
